M-Tech problem
Fitted a M-tech today and it only retards 3 - 4 degrees, Set it at 25 deg by timing disc, on checking the timing with a strobe at tick over it's showing approx 22/23 deg and 7/8000 revs it's only retarding to 19 deg. Only thing I've noticed is the nut's rusting, not had any other probs and I've been through a few tyres.

Femsa to Ducati conversion help
Has any one done the conversion from Femsa flywheel to ducati flywheel and electrics? Looking at one for a mate that's had the conversion done but the timing looks to be about 29/30 degrees, is it normal on these conversions to elongate the slots in the stator as that's the only way I can see to get...

I've had a few from Scooter Restorations and they've been the best I've found and not had any probs with them.

Cheers Martin, I've not had a look at it properly yet, I just got one of the studs out to see if they we're the same thread etc as the SIP and standard ones, I'll check to see if the rim will fit, if it does I'll get the SIP studs turned down a bit.
