Re: Smaller wassel/podtronic regulator?

I found a Chinese wassel unit for about £5 and quality and sizing it's the same unit. Will shave off the edges and put it in a box and see what happens.

Will also look for the smaller unit

Re: Sticky Book No3

Looking through the current stickys it jumps about and does lack in depth detail in many areas.

Personally I prefer a Haynes type manual

Smaller wassel/podtronic regulator?

Hi,

Currently have the large black bgm wassel reg but I would like to hide it in the standard rectifier that is on the rear frame arm.

Who has done this before and any recommend regulators and any heat issues with it being enclosed?

Worn endplate dowel holes- options

My endplate dowel holes are slightly loose, with only the dowels fitted the end plate can rotate a total of about 1mm at the layshaft bearing end. Apart from welding up the holes and getting it on a milling machine what's the alternative to bring this to bring it back to a useable state? Sent from m...

Re: Early type layshaft question

Both are interchangeable, I have both types and you will not notice any difference.

Re: Welding old style crownwheel with springs?

Would be interested as I have the same. However I would be inclined to leave it as is if all looks good. Yes it will fail in the future but until then .......
