Re: Lambretta cross member mods

For the inside yes I can TIG a plate along the top but won't get down the sides very much so for an all round weld i thought of ...

Re: AF on the phone
Whilst searching for parts for my restoration I have phoned and when requested sent emails to several big name well known dealers and tuners.. Have I had a single response, have I f@@@.
Rather disappointing tbh.

Lambretta cross member mods
Hi all,
As many have seen the stand mounting holes in the cross member cracks over time. I know there are bolt in plates to go inside the cross member but what are the other solutions?
How about a 2mm plate welded on the outside face of the cross member?

Re: RE: Re: TV175 barrel question
I've just done a conversion for someone using a lovely large transfer port TV 175 barrel (apparently there are three different port sizes) and a nos three ring piston, all fitted on a standard LI150 crankcase and using the original TV175 crank, runs as sweet as a nut and a bit more torquey than the...

Re: TV175 1963 strip and rebuild
Just saw the casing damage caused by a loose rim bolt isn't here and will further explain the above pic.
Yes the rim mounting bolts will be replaced [emoji6]

Re: Lambretta..S3 original hub colours?
Cheers for replies. . It appears there wasn't a set rule. Think I. Will go for the white hubs and rims. I currently have a white front hub and rim and a silver rear.

Re: TV175 1963 strip and rebuild
Yep exactly, I will blast it next week and should look perfect without any hint of a repair.
I'm pulling in a few contacts to get them clear anodised or acid dipped so end result should be quite nice.

Lambretta..S3 original hub colours?
Hi all.. what were the original hub colours out of the factory for a new white frame body colour? I ask as have seen photos of the hubs and rims the same colour as the frame and others are silver. Also... the front fork linkage bolts - have seen combinations of painted bolts and others unpainted. I ...
