kiss of death this thread..had to replace my Blue Ducati made in Italy CDI on the C2C at the weekend, due to a really bad misfire (done a couple of plugs in, changed CDI and it got me home, although not perfectly) replaced with an A.T. coil that was in the toolbox. stator readings were a bit low, so...

the px125 bushes are even WORSE to get out, as the tube is solid all the way not two parts. last one I did had an engine bolt rusted in :( and took a whole day to get them out and replace. luckily, you can get new style px 125 engine mounts that just pop in with a bit of silicon grease. have you got a filter fitted? is the choke lifting up all the way? try a flip up choke lever to eliminate the cable, try dropping the pilot to a 48 see if that helps.

prise rims apart after removing nuts (obviously, but you never know....) put a couple of small blocks of wood between them, bit of diluted washing up liquid around the rim, and stand on the bead of the tyre (flat on the floor) and it"ll come off, if pulling off with ya hands, wear a stout pair ...
