Re: could this lambretta engine be as it left the factory ?
its all going back together as is, apart from new seals and bearings and a new clutch and top tensioner, a real pleasure to work on, everything is prestine and fits so well.

could this lambretta engine be as it left the factory ?
working on a series 2 that looks as though its never been apart before, don't think I have ever had my hands on one that's never been apart, even the top chain guide is unworn, could it be as it left the factory ? the locking tabs have never been touched. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/46857896...

Re: seeking recommendation on GT200 gearing
I think your pipe is the problem, pm is a revvy pipe but your final drive ratio is better for a pipe that makes more torque, tsr evo or a fresco comes to mind, choice of pipe and final drive ratio go hand in hand. only other option is to get a bigger crownwheel.

Re: Exhaust change ..... jetting info

Re: lambretta 290 rotax

Re: AFR Fresco endcan
tsr evo end cans are easy to adapt as the end that has the 3 threaded holes is 10mm thick aluminium so you can re-do the holes inbetween the original holes and re-tap
