how difficult should it be to move the piston in / out?

I'd have thought it might slide fairly easy but not that I'd have to take a hammer to move it....

I think he means crankshaft as that's what the flywheel mounts on which would then be able to gripped in a lathe. Might depend on which ignition system and stator you've got.

Some of the later AFR marked ones seem to be very fussy about the CDI unit and will only work with the AFR marked ones.

agree looks like indian stamping to me, but neater than most...my 200 casing has a 602 prefix then a 6 digit number other things to check for are 5 ribs on the flywheel side ingine mount and possibly rubber brake insection windows on the rear brake backplate..these poit to indian to check if it's a ...

If this "was a fast and reliable setup", why change it? If it ain't broke....... Hmm...It ain't been revamped since 96 and to be fair has been sat for a few years and the piston is sh*gged and it needs a rebore, so thinking of upping it a bit when I have the thing in bits... Also anyone k...
