Re: Pinasco 177 with reedvalve

I think the carb is similar to the mikuni super BN series of carbs and the tillotson , they are used on jet skis, karts and I think snowmobiles.
I think the chopper Pride, the DAC's and Richard Taylor have used this type of carb.
Is there any news on price and power output on this kit?

Re: matt black

While you are in wilkinsons buy a set of their gloss rollers. They made a brilliant job of putting on my Nato green matt army paint.

Re: Advance /Retard

As I understand it ( but I probably have got it wrong) A lambretta is happy to tick over and potter around town with a timing of 21 degrees but as revs rise the timing need to get closer to top dead center, with some TS1's running 15 degrees. It gets confusing when talking about advance/retard becau...

Re: Fuel Gauge

the gauge is the easy bit, lots of different styles to choose from. its the sender in the tank that is the tricky part to find. one on ebay for a boat application that is adjustable for tank depth seems pretty good.
not sure what sender will fit in a standard tank due to restricted room

Re: Endplate hoohah

you arnt using an indian close ratio gearbox by any chance? I had same problem with the layshaft and cluster seeming to be too far apart to fit into the endplate. my problem turned out to be an indian gp 1st gear supplied instead of an Li 1st gear, same number of teeth but different overall diameter...

Re: Mugello Boost Port Question

If my understanding of the 2 stroke cycle is correct then at bottom dead centre the transfer of the fresh charge from under the piston into the barrel should be complete so there should be no pressure to blow through the boost port to create spit back. BUT in the real world I consider this to be a b...

Re: spanish kickstart

I know some spanish kickstarts are alot "straighter" than the italian ones (if that makes sense) guess it was a way to reducing production costs but I thought these were on later lynx models and were painted matt black like alot of the other parts I'd put on what ever you want as the spani...
