Re: SIL Gp Light switch
Oh the joy of indian wiring! I bought a brand new indian gp200 that was F reg, this had an indicator switch on the lh throttle support that was a similar shape to a gp light switch. All the indicator switch was a simple toggle with off in middle and a left position and a right. I also have a semi re...

Re: Sh filter
By box I guess you mean the standard steel air filter box. I would think the easiest way to fixing a filter is for you to keep the rubber elbow and fix a k&n style filter to the end of the rubber elbow. you just need a solid ring to push inside the elbow and a k&n style filter to fit over th...

Re: Welded or heli coil?

Im pretty certain they design the engines to take time certs when I worked for general dynamics as a vehical installation tec we used alot ...

Re: Rear Brake Light Blowing
I seem to remember reading somewhere that the scooter needs to have a working Speedo bulb that must be 12volt even though it is a 6volt system. It is used as a type of buffer . Afraid I have no idea if this will help your brake light problem.

HB stage 4 head
Can any one tell me where I can get hold of converted cylinder head for the stage 4 tune? Ive tried phoning Harry but haven't been able to get hold of him. Would it be possible for me to get the top of the barrel machined down instead of the head turned? What I mean is using a 1.5 packer and two gas...

Re: X6 & X7
I'm very interested in any thoughts or feedback on the x6 for the small block casing.
from the look of the few pictures I've seen it seems to have feeds from intake to transfers like the rb.

Re: Tank straps-different lengths
There are two different sizes because there are two different sets of tank rubbers. the bottom tank rubbers for Li's and specials fit into a hole in the bottom tank support on the frame where as on a gp they slid over the bottom tank support. sorry but I cant remember for sure if the longer strap go...

Re: Turbo Lambrettas soon ?
I believe the record breaking streamline lambretta 125 from early 60's was supercharged. Richard Taylor did some cad drawings of a supercharger for vespa et4 engine. In my view a supercharger is easier to modify for a scooter engine than a turbo as a turbo need a reliable oil feed as it spins at aro...
