Easy (non exotic) TS1 Replacement piston

I managed to hole the piston going flat out up hill tonight. All the classic symptoms. I'm already thinking about the new one. I've yet to get the motor apart (as the scoots in a mates shed at the mo) and I'm interested in some opinions as to what the best "non-packing plate" solutions are...

Wow... that's really nice. S2 is not the "go to" Lambretta body for street racers, but this.... is.... the mutts nuts. Congrats on a job well done.

can honestly say slime is worth it !!! was doing 50mph two up, and got that "mmm scoot dont feel right feeling" for about half mile pulled over and the valve had parted company from tube although the hole was way to big for slime to fill i belive it gav me time to stop I'm in the States a...

After you've checked the obvious it might be that the gear selector rod or its arm may be incorrectly positioned. If this is the case then I hope you've got the earlier LI type not the fixed later GP version, Refer to page 70 of Stickys manual to get a full explanation. Hope that helps Ian And........

Jumping out of 4th gear.

Hi All Looking for ideas as to why my Lambretta may be jumping out of gear. This is my second Lambretta and I never had this problem on my other TV175. My current Lambretta is a bitsa with a TS1 on a SX200 block. I bought the scoot already built so I’m not sure what lurks inside the cases. It runs...
