and/or a stator. ;)

I do leak down tests with the piston at BDC so that the ports are all open.

Re: Issue with Rapido

Thanks for all the advice

However, having broken my wrist and smashed my Other scooter Sunday, this will all be logged for when I can turn a spanner again in 3 months

Re: Issue with Rapido

Running a 30mm phbh with breathe sweet. Not running any advance / retard. Not sure of the compression ratio ( oops ) !!

I did have an issue with over run and when it got warm so increased the size of the packer to increase the squish ( now about 1.7 men ) and that solved that.

Re: Honda 205

The barrel has been tuned by a top bloke in Liverpool ( Mark Stevens if anyone knows him ) and it's been together for about 6 years.

I'm changing the gearing 16t front sprocket this weekend so it should be 4.9 rather than 5.22

Re: Honda 205

Cheers People!

I was thinking if I can take it down to something like 4.9 approx, via a sprocket change, that would be good - and more cost effective than yet another pipe!

Honda 205

I've got a Honda 205 /30mm phbh/ Italian li150 gearing- 15/46 I've just fitted a jl curly having taken off a BGM clubman. It now accelerates like a scalded cat up to 67/68 mph but that's it, which was the same as BGM clubman in terms of top end speed. I know I need to dyno to see where it's making i...

How long....?

Just built an engine, rapido 225... How long does it need to run for before I can do a leak down test? If I run it for 15 minutes on idle ? Just don't wanna blow the head gasket sealant.
