Re: Exhaust issue would not be resolved by buying another
Looks like my issue is having a muggelo kit and having to use the longer exhaust stub that's putting it all out of line . Making bad fitment . I thought that if I bought a franspeed or Jl this would resolve it but it seems as this isn't the case  I'd only end up with same problem so to resolve...

Re: Taffy copy pipe
I bet TAFFSPEED are loving this... I cant see why? They can start producing/selling them any time they like, its their choice not to. Maybe they will in future? Who knows? ;) These Taffy reps fill a gap in the market until that day though, and for £180 compared to £500 I'd rather have the copy. As ...

Re: MB Clutch Springs vs Readspeed Clutch Springs....
Interesting thread this
What about clutch plates? Is there a test or known rating to say which are best?
For example Surflex B, Surflex Greens and Readspeed Red which drunkmunkey is using, how do you know which are best?

Re: How fast can a scooter really go? Dyno Data & Sprint Sim
....you can do a quick recky of what would be needed, pick either the group 6 or road scooter graphs then look at the drag and friction curve to the power and speed graph lines. eg - for the group 6: 40 hp = 112mph 50 hp = 122mph 60 hp = 130mph There are, on the day, variables to consider. eg - hea...

Re: How fast can a scooter really go? Dyno Data & Sprint Sim
This is the info i pulled together when Ian Campbell visited me, i put his weight and my gearing data in and the revised power figure it made with the fan removed (43.6bhp) to do the Elvington 1-mile sprint. The data below is as per Monday's runs at 117 and the 2nd day we ran just 1 tooth less on r...

Re: How fast can a scooter really go? Dyno Data & Sprint Sim
This is really interesting, please can you explain a bit more about it? So you take a dyno graph and input the info into some other software, and add in some additional figures like weight and gearing, and the software tells you what top speed you will do? Is that right? So how does it know things l...
