folks, I'm going to fit electronic ignition to my Li with GP crank. I want to spend nothing, but i want the best. I've been advised to use MBG stuff (stator, CDI, regulator), but to buy an indian flywheel as it'll save about £140. Any thoughts on this? My other alternative is to buy the electrex ful...

I'm not sure I'd take a chance with brake cleaner on the coils, no telling what resistance the insulating lacquer will have to harsh solvents. I'd try WD 40 directly on the coils and when clean, wrap something round the coils for protection and use carb cleaner through a fine nozzle to wash off the...
