I have just fitted a Malossi 210 MHR Race kit to a friends engine, it was already fited with a Malossi reed valve kit and a 30mm PHBHand TSR Revolver exhaust. Well I managed to pick up. Franspeed supertourer off here with the big boy end can. Took it for a run tonight, it's got a different sound, very deep. Seems to pull really well. Will try with the decibel insert removed and see what that's like at weekend. Need to get some miles on the engine then it ...

I tried one on my newly built cast 200 with reedvalve, and compared to the Franspeed Road pipe I also tried it was as good if not better in the lower gears. it would pull from 20mph in 4th (4.8FD) with no problem. I would have bought one if I hadn't managed to get a Supertourer for a good price. Wha...

Nigel,
I have a wassel conversion and battery, I am about to fit a sip speedo. Where do you take rev pick up from when using battery? I wa planning on fitting the power box at back of scooter near to battery and stator. Any pointers greatly received, I gave resistor plug already. Andy

Ok so I have tried the engine with my Fran race, Fran road and a TSR Evo pipe fitted. the race pipe worked but to pull cleanly in 4th you had to be going 35mph+, it would run happily at 25-30mph round town but didn't want to accelerate from there and found i was changing down to get the best progres...

Well I have borrowed a Fran Road pipe and a TSR Evo to try this weekend, plan to try the raod pipe tonight and then the Evo over the weekend. will let you know what I think once done. Which other end cans will fits these as I note they are quite large in diameter and sits close to the panel? Mine is...

Well managed to do another 9 miles tonight, race pipe is ok but not suited to the engine spec so arranging to borrow a couple of others to try. Minority - have to agree mine makes a different sort of sound now its running. just thought it was me as my scooter hasn't been started for a while! goes quite well but not thrashed it yet so not sure if pipe will work as designed will be looking to test it with a Fran Road hopefully before the week...
