a picture or 2 would help explain the problem . Are your mag and engine cowls OEM ? Innocenti ... SIL.... Spanish or aftermarket jobbies ? Wondering if all the mag flanges are the same or if some are deeper depending on year similar to the flywheel cowl different depths? All working many thanks, but had a weird situation with the rear light assy. It has 4 connectors 2x marked M, 1x stop and the tail. M is the earth but I found there wasn't an electrical connection between the terminal and the reflector/bulb holder despite being riveted together. I made a solder join...

Cheers, mine is about the same. I would have expected the shaft to be flush tbh. The hub has a chamfer so no issues with tightening etc. Oh well more Italian oddity
