tried adjusting it , turned the adjuster right out so cables like a piano string (still same) wound the adjuster back in till it stops and cable is slack (still same) plenty oil in (up to the level plug) going into the caseing in a bit and have a butchers.

hi, when i start my LI 175 and put it into first it jerks forward then its ok, last week i was stopping and pulled clutch in, when i stopped with lever still pulled in it started moveing forward, so much i put front brake on and it stalled before i could get it in neutral. when engines not running i...

just a thought has any one used that liquid metal , would some thing like that work , then run over the thread with the correct size dye

Mr Runner, On my sprinter, due to having to take the rear 'non shocker' (its a dural bar btw) off several times, I managed to damage the top mount. It was too knackered to put a die nut on of the same thread size. To avoid putting a new pin in, we filed/fettled it a bit and then put a smaller threa...

thanks for the replies lads, I already have a 17 sprocket so i just need a chain for £45 (IWIS) so i think its worth a try going to austria next year, so just trying to give the engine a bit more get up and go without screwing it

thats correct, it pulls great but get to 60 mph its reving like mad, its a 150 box and its got a TV con rodrosscla wrote:Does it pull strongly in fourth but seem to be revving hard flat out ?
If so it might stand an extra tooth, you don't say what gearbox is in there?
