I've got an LTH reed manifold to test that should work sweet with that set-up. If you can get the scooter up and running with the welded-up piston and fancy some time on the dyno we can test both with and without the reed. If you are interested then send me a PM.

The guy who produced El Sidney will have mapped a whole casing to produce his one (with a bike barrel). If he has all the datum then he should also be able to map a stock (but stronger) casing and probably there would be some demand if the materials and CNC time were a lot cheaper over there than in...

20hp @ 8500 on the dyno should be possible - that's the sort of figures people can manage with rotary Polini 135 Vespas and the Lammy has a less restrictive inlet.
Would be a good idea to find a better piston now though as Fishi says.

Because the frame tube is off-centre, and you get more room and a smoother entry having the inlet on the 'wrong' side.
The only reed kit with left hand inlet is the small-carb version of the GT, but even that has inlet on the TS1 side for the optional 30mm manifold.
