I've just changed a Mitaka Yamaha DT piston in a lined TS1 for a Wossner Yam IT175. The DT pegs went though ports, despite several people saying it would be fine after chamfering the edges, i couldn't live with it . The IT pegs now sit in the barrel and not the ports. What piston is it for Yamaha ? ...

I rebuilt a uk registered bike that hadn't been on the road since 84, it was over 40yrs old when finished. I insured it, went to post office changed the taxation class to Historic and zero rate taxed it with no MOT.

Last time i was in this predicament i went to a local motorbike engineers - they measured it and found one from the hi level catalogue. Not sure who made the hydraulic conversion and what the seal was.

Had the same problem, had to take cage off and open up holes.

Then it can be a bit difficult to get nut on, so I now use a flanged nyloc nut and you can hold it in a ring spanner making life a bit easier!

Would agree mass production to blame

T5 mk 1 featured a buzzer, mounted inside the glove box top right of the door.
Have a look on SIP website they will probably have one which will give you an idea.
Pretty simple to break into the indicator wiring.
