just a suggestion- do it yourself. Get Stickies book and teach yourself- we all had to start somewhere and by doing it is the only real way to learn. There will be plenty of help on here. If you aren't happy doing it yourself try Tom Russell- find him under Bristol Lambretta Club.

What were you expecting Chris. The factory has been shut since the 70s i believe. If you go to Italy expecting to see hundreds of lambrettas on the streets you will be truly disapointed. This is where we stayed , its a pretty nondescript hotel , modern ,clean and has a pool , but in a fairly industrial area. Engine out; stand on gearbox end; remove cowl and cylinder head; pour "Plus Gas" or similar into head space- leave a couple of days. Apply heat to piston head area.
