Carb choke thread

does anyone know if it is possible to repair/ retap the choke thread on a standard SH Lambretta carb? I have bent the alloy so as the choke housing is held in place but I would really like to get the thread repaired to new or replaced with one that is less likely to strip. Where could I get this don...

finally got round to cleaning and jetting up the SH2/22 Carb that I got hold of (Main: 118 starter: 50 pilot: 45) for my LI150 S3 and Clubman today. Put the Carb on, kicked her off second kick and then ran her around the block a few times before filling her up with petrol. Ran well and pulled excell...

I know what you mean -to get yours chromed rather than to buy the part outright!
Ive had a few things done there and they certainly know what they are doing- ScootRs Chrome is not show quality standard and has a look of polished stainless steel but is ok.

I noticed looking on Allstyles website last night they sell a Jetex 22mm that they rework themselves to make more reliable- might be worth the extra 15quid to buy a working one!

Contact Kenny at KB Paintshop 01482 225999- Hes painted a few of these panels up (Think he did the full Carbon one in Scootering mag a few years back -7H?)

Cheers- I'm gonna have a go tomorrow- anyone know where I can get some battery acid to clean it (As in Sticky's book) and where is the best place to get Dellorto jets from? Gonna replace all 3 as there are no visible markings on them and I dont know what size they are! Cheers

I have got hold of an SH2/22 Dellorto carburettor that I am gonna put onto my LI150 S3, Electronic ignition, AF clubman exhaust. According to Scooter Help the standard settings are: choke: 22 mm slide:7895/2 atomizer: 5899/4 main jet: 118 starter jet: 50 pilot jet: 45 Would this be ok with the engin...
