Re: GT300LC

very interesting read, these engines are going to be a game changer, the amount of work and attention to detail will make all the difference to the quality of the end product, ive been using my home made 290 for a couple of years now so I know how good they are and im sure they will be a huge succes...

Re: V55/5

sounds like you have what you need, all you need to do now is fill in the form correctly, if the scooter is over 40 years old then it will be classed as historic instead, also send a covering letter to explain why you have no paperwork for the scooter, they may want to inspect it as well

Re: S1 Hidden Master Cylinder - Where & How

Re: Anti dive for spauq

ive got a scoot rs disc on one of my scooters and that's using disc links but its anti dive, the speedo drive just sits in place and is not a problem, would guess the spaq one will work just the same.

Re: Cheap 5/6 plate clutch

I think you will need a 10mm packer and extended basket and crownwheel to use thick plates and get 6 in, ive done similar for a 7 plate and added a cush drive as well, I extended the crownwheel by welding 2 together but had to buy an extended spider which I beefed up by adding some welding to improv...

Re: Radiator size

I just took my legshields to our local bike breakers and tried a few until I found what I wanted, I added a filler neck to the top and use a cap with a temp gauge, I have also added a small expansion bottle now as well. https://live.staticflickr.com/4577/38140787484_0db730489d_k.jpg Untitled by step...

Re: What is wrong with people?

it just takes a few good projects to get people involved and logging in every day and contributing, build threads are good for this, we all like pictures as they are like a thousand words, and I know some people cannot post them, so probably do a build but don't post in on here, im pretty sure there...
