Re: Legshield Mounted Spotlights

If you are going to use the proper Pathfinder fixing rubbers, you will need the fixing bolts that have a hole through them for the electrical cables. Someone on the LCGB site was making these. Do a search. This might help

Re: Its happening all again :( Fuse STILL blowing??

Just on the off chance, have you checked that the loom isn't pinched under the tank or anywhere else? Have you looked all along it for any signs of damage? It's just that you mentioned that the fault showed up when decellerating made me wonder if a weight change was causing pressure on the loom anyw...

Re: I got a numpty idea

Don't know how much you know about these but they are as basic as it comes. Slide choke, needle and that's about it. Just rebuilt a mate's sons mini moto bike with a new one of these carbs. Cost £12 IIRC. I''d be surprised if they flowed enough fuel for a Lammy, even with two of 'em fitted

Re: Fans /airflow / techies wanted

Been following this thread and looking at a photo of a lightened flywheel. Why??? Taking bolts in and out of an alloy casing will wear the threads. You are better off using studs.

Re: Help & Info

I'm too embarrassed to post a picture  , but its basically a longish piece of thick flat bar with a hole at one end ( about 1" wide and 1/4" thick by about 14" long). With the chaincase off, this hole in the bar can be placed over one of the casing studs and a nut placed on top of the bar to a...

Re: Fuse STILL blowing??

I held back for suggesting that you change the fuse to an anti-surge fuse  They have a coil of wire rather than a straight wire filament, and this coil type fuse expands with heat and absorbs the surge rather than blowing like the straight filament type do. Worth a try ;)
