Re: Name change- British Lambretta Owners Association Club

Yep, the trademark is 'opposed', the copyright paperwork in my mind is worthless. The 'BLOA' club name has now been changed a little and shall we say the 'borrowed' images have taken a back seat probably not to be used again by anyone other than the LCGB. That says to me, the LCGB must have a really...

Whatever he purchased, trade marked, or whatever must have been given to him on a legal basis.

Re: Name change- British Lambretta Owners Association Club

Good answer, but as a son of a man who made some of his living out of people betting, you can imagine, I'm not a betting man.

Re: Name change- British Lambretta Owners Association Club

That's it Bolzenaker, I've changed the name and MK image. It's all gone into trust to never be used again for all parties. as requested. I've informed all and clarified a few points. But that's it, end of story from me anyway. As I said it doesn't matter what gets said or done there will always be ...

Re: Name change- British Lambretta Owners Association Club

It's just not enough Gavin. I'd like to see you abandon any previously used imagery and names and come up with new retro styled stuff. That way you wouldn't have to spend so much time defending your actions and we can all get on.

Weird thing is, Sywell Museum have no recollection of a scooter rally attending in the near future.
perhaps that's because its on the aerodrome and not in the museum. It's listed in their events schedule and on their website.

Re: LCGB - BLOA - Concessionaires......confusion

Not at all Doom Patrol. I joined the BLOA early on, no. 42 I think not realising the name problem. I probably thought it was the British Lambretta Riders Association, another Facebook Group. Only later did it become apparent to me there was an issue. I haven't cancelled my membership and have (almos...

Re: LCGB - BLOA - Concessionaires......confusion

So, pondering what might happen next. Seeing as the copyright and trademarks Mr Frankland has registered are either opposed or worthless, plus as he stated he would'nt sue anybody for using them, the question would be why bother trying to register them anyway? But I think that has been pointed out a...
