hi chaps,on with a engine,its a suzuki ts250 piston ,monza barrel,with inlet modified for a atomic reed valve,60mm crank with a110mm rod,the ex port is 32mm from top of barrell,and transfers are 42.6mm,piston is as near as dam it flush,putting these figures in the lambretta port timing calculator ,i...

gave up with the phbh,went back to pwk ,with a 110 main,32 pilot,standard needle, top clip,runs nice and clean through all throttle positions,plug showing slightly rich,which i don't mind,going to go to a 15 tooth on the front from a 16,when i get chance,and should be sorted :lol:

think the avanti mitaka piston is £75,and sometimes has them on offer at £50,

hi chaps,being roped into fixing one of my sons mates peugeot v clic,exhaust valve has snapped,so he has got a new head off ebay,now there is a "T" marked on the camshaft sprocket,now do i set the piston at tdc,and the "T" mark level with the cylinder head cover gasket face,hope this makes sense,can...

my lightened af flywheel has a spacer washer between the flywheel boss and the alloy body,which makes it further out,if that makes sense,i think the earlier flywheels don't have this washer,so you can have clearance issues with the bgm pickup.

know where your coming from. cast 225 barrell and piston £20 from leeds parts fair,had to raise exhaust port 5.5mm to get it to run,think it might have been a lambro barrell,pwk carb bought 12 years ago to run on my 1st 175,sx200 gearing,might have to drop to 15 on the front,pulls lovely and is nice...

does any one know what rpm the saigon taffy copy produces its best torque and power and for how long, running one on a cast 230,with a sx200 gearbox,16 tooth,rear 46,according to the gearbox calculator it is pulling 4.51 final drive,and should be doing 67 mph at 6k. on the road it will sit at 60mph ...

had a couple of cheap 225 pistons and a koyo rear hub bearing off him,fast delivery,cheap and they did what it say's on the tin.
