This is an interesting thread as I bought a vespa type regulator to charge my battery on my indian AC Gp a couple of years ago and could never get it to work. In the end I bought a scootRS small type half wave rectifier which works fine to a point. However I don't think it's charging my 12v battery ...

I think Emmerdale must've been filmed near the A614 Bridlington road because that definitely looks like quite a few 747's have crash landed on it!

I think you mean Cosa.
I believe the engines are quite a bit different?
I know the brakes are linked for starters, Chuck from Bristol is the Cosa expert: I expect he's on here somewhere......

buy a know-speed wiring kit from knowledge: comes c/w the crimping tool and all the connectors you are likely to need: top quality too and all for less than £20.

It might work, but not for very long to be fair.
Its the Ah rating you need to see not just the voltage: all volts are is the speed of the current: you need to see the force behind that -the amps.
A MF Gel battery would do better.
