Re: 12v conversion.

indeed you could also fit the lighting coils from a donor px/pk/t5 stator to your stator giving you 12v, and with a regulator rectifier its very easy to do, a new set of points and your good to go, i wouldnt worry about a 6v horn on 12 volt it will work fine

Re: piston info required to use in port timing calculator

cutting the skirt of the piston is the easy way to get more inlet duration but actually enlarging the port will give better results, the exhaust pot widening will depend on your rings

Re: Series 2 side case on TS1??

I had one on my ts1 for more than 20,000 miles then broke it this year after fitting a m-tech unit and over advancing the timing causing the engine to kick back when trying to start it. yeah but most decent auto advance units, no doubt the mtec too do not start from the word go so you find out the ...

Re: Are disk and drum forks the same?

but not early pk50 forks as they are like primmy/50 special forks, but the fork leg is longer, there are a few discbrakes for smallies one of which is the scootrs one which uses the 4 stud hub, and can be fitted to early pk 50 forks and v range forks, the spindle is the same just different hub and b...
