Re: TS1 Clutch explosion!

If you can afford the AF cassette clutch, then I think it will be well up to the job.

Re: Big Thanks To Ray & gang at Af's

Well i was using putoline fully synth when both cranks went, as recommended by a certain dealer who doesn't rate Rock oil ;) Personally, i find most dealers recommend the oil / parts they sell. ;) Think you could be onto somthing here. Three oils that I have used up to now with no problems. Rock oi...

Re: Casing bearing removal temp

It comes out easily at colder temps but goes back better if heated a little.

The alloy can safely withstand upto 150 degrees without any problems.
But then again I could be wrong.

Re: Hmm......... nice !

I need to take a close look at one of these kits, I like what I see up to now... 8-) Only question I had was/is Would there be any advantage in moving the exhaust flange/gasket face further away from the piston so as to aid cooling here, this by allowing cooling air to get under the joint face betwe...

Re: Crankshaft fitting question

Can't remember the width of a crank off hand but 40.5mm is what I think it is. When you fit your crank whatever it's width it rests on the drive bearing and oilseal shoulder on the crank. If the crank is wider than it should be then the mag housing can rub against the crank web on the mag side. Your...

If you have measured the port "as said" but then flattened out the card and measured (now flat) then this is a safe width...
