Lambretta rear drum brakes are not the greatest at the best of times. I would say use everything correctly with all components giving you half a chance of an effective brake including the spring. I may add also the length of the rear outer brake cable is critical, if this is just too short more ofte...

Hi peeps

Anyone using a removable panel hook on a series 2? Which supposedly makes it easier getting the back wheel if punctured.
