Re: Ignition timing advancing with revs?

Iam relatively new to Vespas Jack so take all I say with a pinch of salt, I recently fitted a Polini 210 top end on my "apart from SIP road 2" standard PX, I strobed it to 19 degrees and noticed mine advances when revving it.

Re: REV COUNTER FOR A PX, NOT SIP.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago Martin but it wont work in Rev Counter mode for some reason so iam looking for something else, ideally a round one I could sink into the top of the toolbox.

Re: POLINI 210 ALLOY

Cheers Joey, when I used to dyno my kitted Lammys I noticed the operator aimed for around 7% CO, I do have a gas analyser at my disposal being a gas fitter, after I,v run it in I,ll pop it up the pipe and see what it reads. Got a 125 in mine Joey, too rich with a 128 in, not chopped it with the 125 ...

Re: Rusty Wheel Rims

I always powder coat my rims if not too far gone, just a quick spray with silicon to ease the tires on, never had an issue.
