Check before you buy a larger carb. They are meant to be a standard'ish kit and probably best suited to a 22mm.

Apparently a bit of rougness in the inlet port is a good thing. It causes turbulence and thought it might sound strange it stops the gasses clinging to the inlet wall and therefor slowing down the flow. To be honest if they are that badly corroded I'd seriously think about getting some new rims for what they would cost to prep. The standard BGM rims look very good, and a reasonable price.

Seems you were right Holty. The steering cones have been replaced and apparently it's transformed the handling. Who would have thought it?

I run mine on a TV200 gearbox. Admittedly with a 47 tooth crownwheel, but it goes well and is certainly the fastest scooter I've had.
