A nice find Dave. It looks okay. Where abouts in Canada are you?

Welcome to the 21st Century

Finally I've bit the bullet and swapped my trusty 22mm Dell'orto for a 25mm PHBL. I've always run standard carbs previously. But finally I fitted a kit that needs a bigger carb, and what a difference it makes. It just feels better all round. It remains to be seen if it is any less economical, but to...

Re: GRP Panels

There is Mark Hodgkinson. I think that's his name. He's on FB. Maybe someone here will have his details.

Re: Lambretta Seat

Well, it's whatever you feel happier with. A good bench seat is definitely a step up and the Pegasus seats are very comfortable. Although, you'll get a sore bum on either eventually. :D

Re: Tv175 top speed

It's a weird thing, but regardless of capacity they all seem to do more or less the same speed.

Re: Is this switch correct for my TV?

White. The switch with ivory buttons is a mistake. I was told that the manufacturer replicated the aged appearance of the switch that was supplied. Hence the fact that they remade them in the correct colour.

I agree with Hotdog, Heidenau tyres work great for me.
I've got some K47's fitted to a scooter and I've been surprised how good they are. They look a bit like tractor tyres, but handle really well.

Re: Tyre Choices

Michelin S1's are awful. Never known a tyre like it for tracking every line in the road. Avoid them like the plague. About the only thing you can say for them is that they last well.

Re: Legshield beading

I like Scootopia, but their leg shield beading is awful, to be honest. I think the channel is cut completely wrong. I had a couple of sets and couldn't get them to fit at all.

Re: Legshield beading

To be honest I haven't had much luck finding any here in the UK either. Closest I've got was some cheap Indian beading, funnily enough. It's just the channels that are the problem. They don't fit the lip.
