From what i have seen of these heads your best bet is to start with a new 200cc indian head and recut the bowl and squish band to exactly match the piston radius. By this i do not mean a staight turned angle but a correct radius cut to suit. done the last 6 engines this way all with good results. pm...

I have used MB pistons in many set ups and after running well for 2000 miles the performance seemed off, so i striped and found nearlly all had the bottom ring stuck in the groove. changed the rings and had to open out the lower groove to get the new ring in. Hi just lately a/f have made there 42mm exhausts out of thicker material this has caused me to make 42 clamps 1 mm bigger on dia. as kba 42mm clubmans are from the same sourse it only follows that they now need the new clamps. my clamps only cover about 1 mm dia change as they are job spacific. retu...
