There are a few candy touch ups out there.. I used one to cover a chip but couldnt find a perfect match...it depends how many coats of candy you have...
These new Renault and Ford colours are Candys... they do a single stage touch up too.. worth try

I,m looking to replace it with a mec-euro item , is this I a good crank ? and also they sell them in two sizes , which one is suitable for my engine , all standard internal set up with ally barrel 225 kit ...

As above to make sure you can get out all the air you can... If still not firm... pull in lever and strap it to handlebar to keep it pulled in.. take lid off resevoir, and leave it overnight... lets the air slowly bleed out... Worked for me in situations where I just couldnt bleed the b*stard.... Go...

Just make sure with your multimeter on continuity test mode that the earth you install buzzes through to your maghousing and your regulator body.

The earth leads normally run from Mag to frame to regulator to rear light...

Depends..... Shorting I'd doubt, but possible When scoot revving nuts off... voltage coming from Stator to Regulator will be at its maximum Multimeters on AC are pretty blunt tools... good on DC volts...
