Thanks, Change the oil @ 200 miles, OK no burning smell etc. When I ride it and it slips can’t smell the clutch burning. Didn’t put the plates in my self, did have the springs changed but don’t know what are in at the moment. I sit in traffic most of the time with just the occasional shortish ...

Slipping clutch

Advice is required.

Had a 5 plate clutch fitted to my TS1 225 about 300m miles ago. Its fine until I am full belt for about a mile or so then slips like hell. Once slowed down and cooled down a little it seems to work fine again, until I open it up again?

OK, I have bitten the (speedo drive) bullet, change my view point (!) and am positive that this one (fourth in 4.5K miles) will actually work. I have decided to purchase a plastic one this time, however if it does not work its the last one I ever change it! :flaming:

Dont think they have any at the moment, only plastic ones. Tha last plastic one I had lasted 12 miles!

Speedo Drive

Hi,

Can any one suggest a supplier who could provide a speedo drive and worm that works efficient for a reasonable amount of time? :roll:
