i had a similar problem with my 125 using a 34mm amal i upped the pilot jet one size then altered the tickover and air scew and that sorted it out, still don`t know why it was so sensitive to the angle of the scoot

measure straight across the bore. so you get the 37mm edge to edge not around the bore ( use a calliper gague). if you can keep the top 50% of the port flat and then radius down to the outer edge and keep the outer edge of the port rounded (to help stop the rings snagging), you may find it better

i would be tempted to say thay you have a short circuit at some point after the stator as open circuit and poor conections would be unlikey to cause a coil to overheat.

concider replacing the wires from the stator when you replace the damaged coil.

i use a franz on mine. one of the best i have used or seen in 35 years link but it`s not cheap. the spring is a sod to fit. but the weld quality is great. the maker posts on the smallframe forum from time to time, user name amazombie. this exhaust allows you to keep the buttie box, most of the after...

there are bearing grades of loctite, but i`d be tempted to go for a new crank and bearing
