mbd digital speedo dead had scooter parked up all winter in the garage pulled it out last week nothing on the speedo how long do the batteries last and can u replace them

hi im running a jl3 with 34mm delly gp200 gear box with 19 / 48 sprockets 20bhp 14lbs of torque dyno at chiselspeed

wont start
just doing about 40mph and it just died like id run out of petrol full tank though done all the usual checks cleaned carb checked its sparking changed spark plug made sure the petrol cap isnt blocked but still wont start checked all the electrics its a rapido250 34mm dellorto jl3 electronic igntion ...

the problem i have is its fine top end but its boggy at mid range the needle clip is on the top setting
