Ah thats good to here, I wasn’t sure if I was running abit too hot. I do have a stainless pipe on which I’m thinking of swapping to mild steel so that may bring them down abit

Running temperatures
Hi,
I’m just wondering what running temperatures people are getting? Specifically on TS1
I’m running a ts1 230 with a mamoth head amd a stainless super tourer I seem to be getting between 146 degrees and 162 degrees. This is using the threaded hole on our edge of head.

Ok cheers, I’m going to go back into it this weekend see if I can get it any better and I’ll bend the tabs too. I think my steels are 1mm bgm steels that came in the franspeed kit

Hi, no I haven’t tried that. I’ve seen them bent down on the top bevelled plate before too maybe that might help? I actually tried a different lever on it this morning and it’s actually helped quite abit but not 100%

hi, if using the 60/110 crank would you go for the 30mm piston?
