Re: Lambretta vape sport
Note that the Vape “static” does still have a curve, just much narrower. I used 19 degrees strobed at 4k rpm.

Re: RB improvement
Ended up going RB252. (Monoport RB25 w/62x118 crank).
Very pleased with the kit and and with Darrell Taylor, who needs an admin assistant so he can leave off answering endless “is it ready?” and fitment questions from punters like me.

Re: Scooter find of the Century!
It’s still a great find! I shouldn’t have implied all those scoots are bodges without evidence. I couldn’t delete the comment. And SSC does great work helping us keep OUR bodges on the road.

Re: Scooter find of the Century!
Are they bodges or original? Is this the factory that churned out bodges to sell to the states? Scootrs did sell lots of stainless like is seen on bodges.
(On the other hand Scootrs had some quality parts and I’ve never seen quality parts on the bodged imports.)

But I just ordered the 252 at the same price, lol.
1500-8700 in 5th sounds great. The new geared easy-clutch will be appreciated by many.

Re: Side panel jammed on
Where is it jamming? At the clip/handle, or even after the handle is unlocked? Sometimes you need to get a pipe and tweak the panel lock spring up a bit to make the latch easier to turn.
If the panel is stuck even after undoing latch, I have no idea except maybe the panel is bent a bit.

Re: Two Stroke Oil
Oh -
The SX gets deposits I clean every couple years, the RB is pretty clean so far. Maybe it’s using full synthetic but it could just as well be that the RB runs hotter and burns off deposits or runs leaner

Stock SX200: 3-4% of anything. She isn’t picky.
RB22: 4% Motul 710. It’s what they recommend so I cover my ass a bit if something goes wrong.
