Re: Scooter find of the Century!
I bought my TV3 175 completely restored from Scoot RS in 2004. I still have it and it has taken me to the Isle of Wight 14 times. Apart from one piston replacement it is still exactly as it was when imported. Many of my friends have bought restored scoots from the UK which have proven to be absolut...

Re: Scooter find of the Century!
I've had a few bits and bobs from Randall over the years. I found his prices were fair and the quality wasn't bad. I've still got a ScootRS front disc fitted which has stood he test of time well and is the best front brake I've ever had. The chrome is lifting in some places but that's par for the co...

I think the guys are right on with their advice. Otherwise you will forever be chasing shadows. The really good news is that it starts easily and reliably. There are some obvious and simple checks, and maybe you've already done them. I didn't see any reference to your exhaust, so it's worth checking...

Re: Exhaust Stub End Conversion
I bought an orange Ancilotti in 1975 from Len Turners Scooters and had it on my early Jet 200 with a 30mm Del'O, standard 200 iron barrel, points and coil, and it went very well. A bit of points bounce at top speed but electronci kits were not really an option then. This exhaust and carb combo is an...

Re: Exhaust Stub End Conversion
Thanks for the responses guys. I'm keen to explore the 50mm rote as I have find a local (ish) fella who can pull very tight bends and produces 50mm exhaust elbows as a standard range, He makes exhaust components mainly for custom cars and hot rods, so I'm looking into what we can do with 50mm but he...

Re: Exhaust Stub End Conversion
Ok so I've just found a stub end for sale from SIP. There are a couple of others out there too. Looks like this is a realistic option

Exhaust Stub End Conversion
In another thread a reference was made to the Avanti exbox exhaust. I like the look of it but it seems a tad expensive for me, especially with the international postage costs. It got me thinking about converting an existing exhaust into a stub end arrangement. I have an old AF Rayspeed box which is ...

Re: Best Cylinder Kit??
I really like the look of the Avanti Exbox and it seems to have good reviews, but jeez it's expensive or am I a bit out of touch? around 300 pounds equates to over $600 down here.garry inglis wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:41 am Avanti exbox is a great option pulls from low down wich suit's the mb rt195 kit
