Sadly (or maybe not) I don't have a Facebook account. But keen to look at any other forums.

Re: Cutdown views
Final question for now is what stand to use. I want a side stand but I've seen them put in different locations on the frame, and also wondering what is the best available stand.

Re: Cutdown views
My other conundrum is whether or not to leave the tool box and the toolbox door off. I've got a standard fuel tank. Anyone done this?

Re: Cutdown views
Holty. Interested in your approach to the wiring loom. Keep me posted. I'm wondering whether I can get around the standard loom and go for something simpler. I'm putting a modified SX headset on mine with a Smiths speedo (replica). But as I've posted elsewhere on the forum, getting it calibrated is ...

Cutdown views
I've seen a few users mention their 'cutdown' in some of the tech posts, so I'm presuming a few out there have cutdowns as well as their regular scoots. I'm just about to embark on building my cutdown. It's been a long time sitting there gathering dust. Quite a while ago I managed to get hold of a b...

Re: Horn
Back in the day(1970s), air horns used to be all the rage. Does no-one use them these days? Yep airhorns were great, if you had the tech expertise to rig them up. Needed a good battery set up but with right compressor you could get decent results. The AC horns were so bad back then that most dealer...

Casa performance pipe springs
I've got a Casa performance pipe fitted, but the springs between the u-bend and the expansion are missing (long story). So I've been running without springs for some time now always with the intention of ordering replacement springs. I just didn't get round to it yet, but things seem to be working o...

Re: Best Regulator?
firekdp - I think you might be right. I jumped straight to the regulator conclusion because that's been the issue in the past, but now I've read your answer, stepped back and thought about it. The festoon bulb is not blowing and none of the others are. I'll put the multi meter on it when I get chanc...

Best Regulator?
Headlight bulbs have been blowing. 12v Electronic, but not sure of origin as it was on the scooter when I purchased it and it's unmarked. It's a pretty reliable kit and scooter starts first time and runs well, just excessive current at the headlight bulb. After checking it out I'm pretty sure it's t...
