Re: Augusto.. who"s using what ?
I personally feel on a standard/mild tune upto 7-7500 revs if squished, compression ratio correct and jetted right you can get away with the agusto 6000 and i do without a problem, running a standard barrel set up, you have,nt got the bhp and torque to pull 16-12 degrees of retard, i think 18 degree...

Re: Augusto.. who"s using what ?
when the weather gets better g/eye, i,d love to to have a go of ye scoot, did ye go the staincliffe?.... to some degree nelson pk your right, but the 6000 = 10-11-12 degrees and retards fast - for standard-mild tune 7000 = 7-8 degrees and retard slower - for kits 8000 = 4-6 degrees and retards very ...

this is a real word reply, g/eye...i had to file me stator plate slots to get the 6000 set right, so the augusta is fully retarded at half throttle 18-19deg-60mph for me and onto full throttle at 18-19deg, you don,t want the agusta to fully retard at full throttle because you,ll be advanced right th...

Re: Augusto.. who"s using what ?
goldeneye, do a search, type in agusta 6-7-8000, i,ve tried all 3, like i say i went for the 6000 because i was looking for the advance timing at bottom end, i,m set at 30-31 deg and retards back to 18-19deg at half throttle...say your timing is 14 deg, it depends were you want your augusta to retar...

Re: standard carb
