fookin hoy them gadge! shite, they can be sealed, but the sealant also ends up in ye bowl, one tackle fanny gadget that is shite.....

check all the cables in your head stock, for wear as they can rub, especially the left handside were cables run down the handle bar to the switch(probs rusty switch), down the steering colum to the front, clean every connection you come across and check cables for rubbing....

curiosity question if i may? i,ve gotta harry barlow standard barrel-piston+head stage4 top end, cut crank, 24/24 carb, jl pipe, performs quite well 14bhp... 1, anyone put a reed valve on a harry barlow top end 2, in general figure'wise if you can the gains bhp from standard carb to reedvalve on any...

ye went to knaresboro-york with him and chip pan, strugled to get 55-60mph and drinking petrol, but on the way back. told him to get head down(laughed at him all the home) but 65-68mph pipes doing now,t for him, think he,s gonna see ye about sorting an harry barlow tune.... ps how,d ye get on with y...

soundz like the clutchside bearing is,nt home proper, you have put seal lips facing crank web, is seal pushed up against bearing....
