It may require a new switch. Slacken the back...

Brake Light Only On When Brakes Fully On

Hi, my brake light only seems to come on when my lever is fully pulled in and when my pedal is fully pressed down.
Any ideas on how to correct this please?

Thanks.

I have an alarmed disc lock on the front, but for a few quid i can at least stop them lifting the front end and wheeling it away if the back brake is on too.

Padlocking Back Brake Pedal

Does anyone else do this and if so what size padlock are you using?

Big thanks,
Simon

Re: PX Headlight Won't Dip

Thanks, it's fixed. It was indeed the bulb. A bulb with two elements is a new one to me. Thanks again, this forum is great for us novices.

Re: PX Headlight Won't Dip

For the time being i've gone for the quick fix of permanently dipping the headlight to the fullest using the bolt underneath the light. Seems to be low enough not to be dazzling other road users.

Re: PX Headlight Won't Dip

First thinvgs I would check ; 1. Bulb 2. Bulb holder - check connections, signs of corrosion etc 3. Switch wiring Good luck So both bulbs are working. Vespa operation manual says: left switch on right handlebar... 1 (top pressed in) = Town lights 0 (switch to middle) = Lights off 2 (down pressed in...

PX Headlight Won't Dip

Hi, when I click the switch down to have the headlight dipped it just goes off.
Very annoying for whoever I'm behind.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: How to change PX back wheel.

Took off both side panels, battery and holder and mud guard and got a scissor jack under the gear selector and it was a doddle. Thanks for the tips.
