62ML Crank in Avanti???

Hello Loony Tuners
Has any one got any experience of using a 62ml Crank(looking for 240cc) in the Avanti kit, recently got the Kit and was looking at this route but know the clearance can be tight on frame and it can make the kit a bit peaky, looking for any experience/advice please?

Series 2 lower steering bearing dust cover

Sorry bit boring but necessary, this is my first Series 2 build and I cannot get a lower steering bearing dust cover(dish bit that attaches to forks) that fits, I was told they were the same for Series 1,2,3
Is there a difference or have I been sent another badly made part?, any help appreciated
