Re: Black series 3 trim?
We make them in black. We make our own inhouse and they really are MUCH MUCH better quality than the one Italian type resold by Meceur/Casa to all the shops, and still half the price. http://scootrs.com/images/lambretta/floor_strips_detail.jpg http://scootrs.com/images/lambretta/floor_strips_set_com...

Re: Bearings & Seals
>>I have never heard of anyone who has used them, but by looks & feel alone, they would not fill me with any confidence. I bet we all have. We used to buy the EXACT same oil seals from MBD before we bought them direct. Does MBD not fill anyone with confidence? ;-) We've used them for man...

Anoraks: Series 2 floor strips - and air scoop
Does anyone have even one good original Series 2 plastic floor strip they could spare, even temporarily? The Italian repros are appallingly bad quality, even worse than their S3 ones. Would love to see a good one before we make ours, even just a good closeup photo. By the way, if anyone has an origi...

Re: series 3 legshield runners
I didn't realise it was tough to find black S3 sets. If you need a full set, we do our own inhouse now and I have to add they are much, MUCH better quality than the rather poor Italian ones resold by Casa/MecEur: http://scootrs.com/images/lambretta/floor_strips_set_compare_italian.jpg http://scootrs...

Re: External front disc?
Pretty nifty, Dactek. Is that the 11 inch rim?
We thought before about going the opposite way with a smaller hub to allow a bigger wheel well, but doesn't work on the back.

Re: Warning: Non Nissin ScootRS disc brake caliper
There are various quality discs (the disc itself) available so we always get the best we can but I've never heard of even one of ours splitting. Hard to imagine what would even split. I wouldn't even worry about that happening. For calipers, we haven't used the non-Nissin ones since we secured a sup...

Re: Smeared Big end on an AF Crank
>>any ideas anyone Wait for Sticky to start a fierce recall campaign demanding they replace every single crankshaft for free because even 1 failure is dangerous, and then write a huge Scootering article about it? Just kidding, just kidding. :P ;) Sorry to hear about your troubles, David. >>no bluein...

Why is there a new crank for the RB20?
Why is there a new crank for the RB20? Why don't they use the one AF has already for the RB22? Or why not use this one on the RB22? What's the difference?
Don't tell me there's a 3rd one for the rb25?

Re: Lambretta inboard disc brake kit update
>>weird choice of words for the webpage? Don't you use that expression in the UK? Metaphorically "roadkill" just means things conquered and left behind, which seemed appropriate for ephemeral blog posts about scooters. Goes back 8 years so far, must be one of the older scooter blogs. >>can...
