Re: PWK jetting, running through airbox

Thanks. Yes this is the dilemma I found myself in when trying to jet the reed setup. Most widely recognised reed jetting knowledge comes from everyones ts1 experience, yet the ts1 inlet is on the opposite side of the scooter and therefore doesn't run through the airbox. So comparing a 50 pilot on a ...

Re: Is there any such thing as?

I found the Norton / BSA type inline brake switches that they use on the old british bikes to be much better quality that the Vespa PX style ones. This type switch also allowed me to run the thicker 2.5mm diameter BGM superstrong front brake cable, it wouldn't of fit through the PX style switches, ...

Re: PWK jetting, running through airbox

Thanks, good to know that you found similar and was also able to back it up with the wideband sensor readings. Would be good to get mine on the dyno at some point just out of interest to see the A/F ratio, but like you I have done plenty of plug chops and therefore happy that im in the safe zone. I ...

Re: Suzuki 190

Built a Suzuki 190 last year using an indian SR 185 (64mm) alloy/iron lined barrel and Suzuki TS piston. 150 italian gearbox. Runs really well, fast enough but also really comfortable at a steady pace. Really enjoyed building it too. If you are happy / capable enough do it yourself can be done on th...

PWK jetting, running through airbox

Couple of Lambretta setups and my experience using PWK / OKO style carbs through the airbox. Couldn't find many setups like mine on forums when I was trying to jet them, yet I think running carbs though the airbox is becoming more popular so thought I would share my experience. Chose this carb becau...

Re: Pros and cons of a 22 tooth primary on a kitted P125?

I run a cast iron polini 177 si24 carb and jl lefty and have upped mine to 22 primary. I did it more because I wanted to bring the revs down a little bit when cruising in 4th at 60mph for long periods and it did the trick. It pulls the gearing fine with 2 up to that speed. Dont often want to go fast...

Hello all

Hello all, bought my first scooter 4 years ago, a PX125 disc, as something to get out and about and explore local countryside with the wife after moving from Sussex to Oxfordshire. Been racing motocross for 15 years and with the swing from 2 to 4 strokes I needed a 2 stroke fix again with something ...
