It’s not hard to decoke and replace the rings.
Or even get it rebore with new piston if the bore is worn.

Re: Electronic ignitions
If you’ve still got the stator buy replacement LT coil and pickups from AT and repair as per his video.

Re: Wasted Tuning?
Have a look at the link below - sudden contractions and enlargements cause turbulent flows and changes in fluid direction - energy losses, so reducing system efficiency. This article proves that the the energy losses Due to fluid flows aren’t big enough to be seen on a dyno . The point I’m attemptin...

Re: Wasted Tuning?
I found it really interesting- makes sense from the power angle. What didn’t seem to be considered though is the long term efficiency Of the system.. Power increase may be negligible in a Dyno or the road - but run the bike for a 1000 hours and see If their is a difference in fuel consumption. All r...

Re: Chaincase bolting
the hard steel will wear the softer alloy threads. The steel can cause galvanic corrosion - again damaging the casing threads. Be very careful using stainless steel- Search steel bolts in aluminium casings. Lastly - as the threads wear they become loose and easier to cross thread. Where I do have to...

Re: Crikey its quiet in here ..iet in here...in here... here..
So the LCGB as a club ( based on re-election and unanimous backing at the AGM) are happy to support the committee stance.
Any non members suggestions that the club is wasting money over this stance is an individual opinion and does not reflect the views of the LCGB membership as a whole.

Re: Crikey its quiet in here ..iet in here...in here... here..
I’m interesting in the evidence that members are unhappy that the LCGB are “waisting “ their money. As far as I can see the committee were re-elected by the LCGB members at the AGM- and this means the majority of members are happy with the overall running of the club and the way the committee act. I...
