I've been reading lots on here about them, mates all ride ts's down here in Devon there's no one with an avanti so just not sure. The big plus for me would be not cutting the floor because the carb sits on the l/h side as opposed to right with a ts1.

Mikuni fitting with out cutting the floor
I want to use a tmx35 with a ts but I don't want to cut any of the floor board away below the carb so carb doesn't catch the floor when the suspension moves up and down. Is there a way? Thanks J
