Hi Paul, I wont know until the flywheel comes off and we can then make a call / buy new parts. Whilst I am there do I need to replace the li bearings with GP ones? Thinking about the shopping list now....

Ok, so looks like I will need to buy a new GP flywheel if I go down that route. Also Do i need to replace the stator plate as well? Sorry for the obvious question?

that looks like a chrome ring headset with no chrome ring if you measure from the steering lock down none chrme ring is 10mm that looks about 3mm witch is chrome ring Hi Garry, You may well be right with this. This scooter is a right mixup as I have found on different occasions! Will check that out

Hi Paul, Thanks for that and I replaced the 6v system to a 12v last winter. I am going to check what flywheel i bought from the supplier.

Hi all, I have a different issue from my usual engine woes today. This time its the lineup of the screws on the horncast, The top screws under the headset lineup fine. However the bottom two miss the holes by about 2-3 mm. The screws do lineup on the mudguard though. Its only now I have removed the ...
