In the end l bought the Cambridge yellow ones , which dont seem much softer than the MB ones .

Yes I had the MB spring set up in my forks and just found them way too hard, they used to bounce over road imperfections and I didn't find them a very pleasant ride. Bit of a bugger to fit as well ;) I fitted the Scootopia spring set-up ( can't remember if its progressive or not) and now its a dece...

It`s a genuine Dellorto. I shall try just my slide (40) in his carb , if it starts ,then he can buy a new slide , if it doesnt ,i will put my carb back on it and get his carb vapour blasted to make sure its not blocked anywhere. I would also use MB springs as thee compress to 14mm where others dont , and as stated you will need 2.5/2.6mm corks and probably a 2.5 or even a 2.0mm top plate

My GP is stalling when i release my clutch, i had the engine out & after i put it back the scooter was stood some months, when I fired it up some months later & released the clutch it stalled, it was fine prior to engine removal (for engine mount renewal only). I did notice I had not tighte...
