Re: Cargo 'pants'
I have a pair of armoured jeans. They are double demin (!) in all the right places, and have armoured pads in knees and on your arse (though I have removed the latter). I appreciate that you don't want jeans, but the reason I mention this is that they have armour that is designed to absorb impact. ...

Try here http://www.bikersgearuk.com/ They sell Kevlar camo cargo pants at a price that would be hard to beat . Everything I have bought there has been of a very good quality and super value for money. Give them a bell as they are great at getting your size right.

Re: suggestions sought for Li150-3 restoration (carb/175/clubman)
You could save a few quid and use a 22mm Jetex for around £30. My mate's series 2, 175 runs really well on one.

Re: Mystery GP200
I suspect that it is a pre release press model and it has been UK registered since 1989 as a SX200.

With just 25 miles on a rebuild things will still be a bit tight and not yet run in. I'm sure that if you give it a few more miles then it will loosen up and run much better. Besides AF Rayspeed recommend staying below 35mph for the first 100 miles and 45mph for the next.

Mystery GP200
I have just been offered a DL200 which was imported from Italy in 1989, the bike is totally original and unmolested but it gets interesting and intriguing as it was registered in November 1968, two months before the official January 1969 launch. The frame has an SX150 number but it's definitely a GP...
